Chapter 993: Distracting Messages.

While the will of the Blessed Heaven World and Tepid Scholar were joining forces against him, a Dao Lord had sent a secret message to Loki.

The message went directly into his mind, saying, "I can help you stop Tepid Scholar from helping the will of the world. I can even make it so that Tepid Scholar helps you instead."

"The will of the world likes him very much, so it will listen to him. If he tells the will of the world to let you go, it will do so. All you have to do is give him the Forging Supreme Metac."

This time, the sender of the message was hiding their identity. He couldn’t tell from their voice who they were, which is something he could easily do before because the pressure of the existence of Dao Lords always accompanied their spoken words.

As soon as he asked that question, another secret message came to him, saying, "OK. You don’t need to give him the Forging Supreme Metac for free. You can sell it to him. State a price."

He ignored this message too and instead paid attention to what the will of the world had to say about the error in its plan that he had generously pointed out.

He heard the phantom dragon nod and say, "You may have a point. But it is not a matter that has eluded me, so you don’t have to worry about me."

"I’ve seen your fight with the avatars of my Dao Lords. It was a short fight, but it was full of a lot of information. I have learned a lot from the fight."

"As it happens, one of the things I learned is how to defeat you. I think it will be easy to defeat you, so I’m sure I have enough power to go through with my plan."

With a grave and solemn voice, it said, "I am not as powerful as a Dao Lord, but I have a Divine Spark, and I am the most powerful being in the lower realm of the Sea of Worlds. Therefore, I think I have the right to believe I could defeat you."

After hearing these things, Loki nodded and said, "In any case, there is only one way to find out who is right to be proud and who is being overconfident."

As soon as he said this, another secret message entered his mind, saying, "Alright. You’ve proven your point. I can see now that you’re an incredibly stubborn person who wouldn’t let anyone try to cheat him."
