Chapter 495: In service of the Empress

"So, you want my aid in destroying this extremist group, right?" Kai asked Aera and Telia.

"That would be amazing, yes." They both nodded

Kai shrugged. "Okay. This is what I was here for anyway, so it shouldn’t be a problem. However, how are you going to convince your people that I can help them?"

Telia understood what he meant, and she smirked. Walking over to him, she grabbed his collar and pulled Kai toward her, their faces dangerously close.

"We’re a couple now, right?"

Kai nodded. "Yes."

"Then this means that you’re mine, and since you’re mine, I can do what I want with you."

He smiled. "And what does that entail?"

Telia blew on his ear, her hand then cuffed his crotch as she raised her leg on his own.

"This means that you will be of service to your empress." She whispered in his ear

"That’s hot. Alright. Just don’t treat me like a dog."

"Don’t worry, I won’t." She kissed him on the cheek.

"Well, this is all I wanted to tell you, Kai. My daughter can inform you on everything else you need. And if you wish to speak with me, just let me know, and I’ll summon you here again." Aera informed him.

"Okay. Nice meeting you." He waved

"Bye, mother."

"Take care, sweetie."

Aera teleported them back to the throne room.

When they arrived back, time had resumed because it had frozen while they were away. Telia was standing in front of Kai, as this was her position before she was taken by her mother.

"I’ve decided. I will allow you to use your abilities, but you shall become my servant and be in the service of my empire, using your abilities for the nation. As for your former masters, they shall be accepted into my court as my royal handmaidens."

"Sweet. We get to bang legally." Kai blurted out.

Everyone froze, looking at Kai as if he had just signed his name on a list for death. But to everyone’s surprise, Telia simply laughed.

"You better be good in bed, otherwise I’ll be very disappointed." She walked back to her throne, her hips swaying from side to side, and sat down to continue with her duties.

"Take Kai and his former masters to a room and get them situated. I will join them once I finish my duties."

"Yes, empress."

Kai waved, and Telia waved back before becoming the serious, ruthless empress once more.

"This place is the best!"

"You’re just saying that because it’s ruled by women, you perv!" Kyana said, playing with Kai’s hair as he lay on her lap.

"Aw man, you caught me!" He acted surprised

"These clothes are beautiful. We have to visit this place often." Sasha loved the way everything looked on this continent. She even wanted to move here permanently.

"Yeah. The clothing is nice. I feel elegant and super important, like I’m an official." Kai smiled, looking at his silk robes.

"You are important. You’re a god. By the way, why didn’t you tell us this when you became one?" Kyana asked, pulling his cheek

"Eh fogor sowwy." He couldn’t form his words properly since his cheek was being pulled.

"It’s okay. I forgive you." She started kissing Kai, and that turned into a full-on makeout session.

"Jeez. Save some for me!" Sasha joined in, pushed Kyana out of the way to steal Kai’s lips.

This went on until they all got in the mood and were about to strip down, but then Telia walked into the room.

"Oh my. It seems I have interrupted something." She giggled and took a seat on the bed.

"Jin tells us that you’re our new sister wife?" Kyana asked

"That’s right. He proposed to me right in front of my mother. So romantic." She smiled, blushing pretty hard.

"Hey, Telia. I forgot to ask this earlier, but why is the dynamic like this with men being second-class citizens?" Kai wondered

"Well, it wasn’t always like that at the start. I already know about the other continents, and our civilization was like that before as well. However, the king at the time was attacked by a woman who practiced what is known as demonic ki."

"Ha! Murim novel."

"What?"

"Nothing."

"Okay. Well, you see, the king had forced himself on her sister for weeks, got her pregnant, then had her and the unborn child killed. So, the sister got revenge. After that, the king became paranoid and started labeling women as demonic cultivators."

"Oof. That must have been rough back then." Kai remembered that something similar happened when a woman would try to educate themselves in his old world. They would be called witches and be burned at the stake. All for trying to learn.

"It was. At the time, I was living with my mother in her divine realm. But one day, things got out of hand, and the king was about to punish thousands of innocent women, so I stepped in, stopping him and killing him."

"Let me guess, the men called you a demon and tried to justify killing the women because you saved them."

Telia nodded. "The worst part is that they worshiped my mother, so they were just spouting nonsense. Anyway, I lost my cool and killed all of the men who were advocating for the killing of these ’demonic women’. That shut them up like crazy while also inspiring the women. The rest is history."

"Ha! Serves them right! How long ago was this?"

"Hmmm. About five thousand years."

"Damn! Old ass!" Kai expected her to be at least a few centuries old, not a few thousand.

"Ha! You’re calling me old when you’re a couple of hundred or thousand years old as well? How hypocritical of you." Telia humphed.

Sasha and Kyana chuckled softly, but Telia could hear them loud and clear.

"What’s so funny?"

"Heh. I’m only 21 years old." Kai clarified.

"W-What?! Impossible! There’s no way you’re only 21 years old! You’re the child of the progenitor!"

Kai cleared his throat. "Well, I was conceived like a billion or trillion years ago, I don’t know the exact number because my parents see anything with an ’illion’ and think it’s the same number. Fucking fossils. Anyway, while I was conceived all those years ago, I was actually born physically, like out of a woman’s body, 21 years ago." Kai explained

"What the actual fuck?!"
