Chapter 496: Scouting Party

Telia didn’t even know that it was possible to be conceived billions of years ago and only be born 21 years ago. It really messed with her head, so she stopped thinking about it, as her head would explode if she did.

"Okay, I’m not even going to ask how that’s possible. Kai, you’re going to go with the scouting party to check out an area that we think is occupied by the Brotherhood of Chaos." Telia was already putting Kai to work.

"Oh? You’re not going to tell me to just go there and wipe the whole place out if your enemies are actually there?" He asked

"Heh, I can see through you. Your power is greater than mine, and you acted as if you were captured and powerless. I take it that you’re the type of guy to have fun rather than actually end things right away with your powers. Why else would you have complied with my people?"

"Ohhh! Kai! She got you good! He’s always like this, Telia. He’s this strong, and he would want to start from the very bottom of the adventurer rank if he could do it again. It’s very annoying." Kyana rolled her eyes.

"I just like to enjoy doing what I do. There’s nothing wrong with that. You guys just don’t appreciate the feeling of having every rank on your license. It’s very satisfying." He had no regrets.

"Right. So, if you find any of those bastards there, don’t kill all of them. Or at least don’t kill the most important person there. We need him to learn more about the brotherhood, okay?"

"Easy peasy."

Telia then turned to Kyana and Sasha. "As for the two of you, I have stated that you two will be my handmaidens. You will help me with my duties around the palace. I assure you, it’s a lot of fun. You even get to decide the fate of these blasted criminals."

"We get paid?" Sasha asked

Kai shook his head and chuckled. She didn’t even have to worry about money, yet she wanted more. He liked that about her and hoped she wouldn’t change one bit.

"Umm, sure. I can pay you two." Telia nodded

"Don’t bother. She’s just a money nut. You don’t need to spend your gold on us." Kyana wasn’t going to let Sasha take advantage of Telia.

"Hey! I asked, and she agreed. Why are you speaking for me now? What’s wrong with a bit of cash?"

"Sasha, we’re loaded as fuck. Richer than any family in the whole world. Kai can literally create money out of nothing! Why do you care to get more money?"

"Haha! I can do that, huh?" Kai created a gold coin, then another, and another, and then he threw his hands in the air, making it rain gold coins, then he made them all vanish.

"Listen, Kyana. You simply don’t have a business mindset. Everything in the world revolves around money. I was an orphan, so money is very important to me." Sasha didn’t like to remember those times.

"Ahh, right, sorry. I didn’t mean to be insensitive."

"It’s okay, I don’t give a fuck about my past. Life is better now, and I wouldn’t change a thing. It’s just that my past shaped my current view on the world. But that’s about it."

"Aw, that’s cute. Anyway, Kai, go speak with the head of my stealth team. She should be in the throne room, and I informed her to wait for you there. You two, follow me, and I will show you to your duties."

"Yes, Madam Telia." Kyana joked

"Madam Telia, huh? Well, since you know the hierarchy, I’m fine with you calling me that." She giggled.

"Bitch, if anything, we’re your seniors. We don’t have any hierarchy in this harem." Sasha made sure to get that through her head.

"Fufu, we’ll see about that."

Kai returned to the throne room, where he saw a woman wearing stealth, ninja-like clothing. It was a black skin-tight outfit with a belt around her waist that held stealthy weapons for her to use.

The only thing not stealthy about her appearance was those jumbo tits and jumbo thighs she had. He wondered how she would move stealthily while carrying all those assets.

One thing that Kai had noticed after a while was that women with mana usually had a voluptuous body. Sometimes they would have more tits than ass, and other times it was the opposite. But in a lot of cases, they were blessed with both, like this woman in front of him.

"Well, hello there, beautiful. Care to tell me what your name is?" Kai asked, not even trying to hide his flirtatious nature.

"Valera." She said coldly. No, it wasn’t cold; she just had no emotion in her voice.

"Kai. Nice to meet you." He stuck out his hand for a shake.

Valera looked at it, then turned around, not engaging in the act. "Follow me."

’Wow, what a bitch. Heh, but it’s always the emotionless ones who are the loudest in bed. Oh yeah, she’s gonna be mine. Mwahahahaha—The fuck is wrong with me?’

Kai followed Valera, looking around the castle since he didn’t get a good look at it before. It was your typical castle that was seen everywhere, but it was filled with these modern-looking designs and architecture.

It threw Kai off for a bit, thinking he would find a proper flushing toilet, but that wouldn’t be the case since the place was still Medieval.

When they left the castle, Valera turned around. "Keep up." She vanished, moving extremely fast.

"Heh, she’s telling me to keep up when she’s moving like that? She just wants to embarrass me." Kai moved from his spot, catching up with her in no time.

He could see the slight shock on her face, but Valera acted as if nothing was wrong and continued to run toward wherever she was going.

After five minutes of running, they both finally made it to their destination, a camp where the rest of the scouting party was waiting for them.
