The Hero of Hypnosis

Chapter 527: Regroup for a plan

Chapter 527: Regroup for a plan

Kai was running through the air while carrying Thalia in his arms. He was not going to fight that Titaness as he was now. One thing that he sensed, which was good news to him, was that the titaness was tied to a specific area, not able to leave said area.

"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!" Kai shouted with each stride.

"Are you running on the air?!"

"Yes, don’t question things! We need to head back to my girls!"

"Your girls?"

"Yeah. They’re with your army."

Thalia’s eyes went wide. "Oh no!"

"What?"

"My women, my soldiers, they’re going to be overwhelmed by the chrono-beasts!"

"Ahh." Kai breathed a sigh of relief upon learning that she wasn’t talking about something important.

"Don’t worry about that." He shouted. "That’s all taken care of."

"What do you mean?"

"You’ll see once we arrive." Kai stopped running and started flying back to his girls, rocketing through the air, and returned to where his girls were.

"Kai!" Amaya shouted, drenched in blood.

"Hey. How’s everything coming along?"

"We’re fine. The chrono-beasts weren’t an issue at all, and we’ve managed to wipe out every last one of them.

"Nice. Oh, everyone, this is Thalia, the hero of Windonia."

"I was wondering why we haven’t met the hero yet. Well, I knew you were in here, but before I knew about that, I was wondering where you were." Kyana looked Thalia up and down, nodding her head at her appearance.

"It is nice to meet you. I’m assuming the five of you are from the outside world as well?"

"Yup. We’re here to rescue you all and destroy this time cage or whatever. Also, is the space here larger than normal, or is it just me?" Gwen asked

"No, the space is larger than normal." Thalia nodded. "Let me explain."

She went on to explain that the Titaness, while trapped in the time dome, manipulated the space to the size of an entire city, if not larger. Thalia didn’t know why she did this, but it did help her people spread out and find places to make multiple hideouts.

"Can you take us to your hideout?" Kai asked

"Yes, follow me. Everyone, it’s time to move out!" She shouted.

The army and Kai’s group followed Thalia down an abandoned town alley that twisted and turned in multiple directions. At one end, there was what looked to be a sewage drain, at the end and she opened it, dropping down below.

Surprisingly, there was no foul smell or foul sight. It looked like a sewage drain, but that’s all there was to it, its appearance. The inside was constantly cleaned, lacking cobwebs, mold, or any signs of decay.

The maintenance was handled regularly, as even the rocks weren’t cracking or crumbling.

Eventually, they made it a dead end; Kai assumed it was one at least. In actuality, it was a secret entrance. Thalia pressed her hand against the wall, and her magic flowed through it, seeping into the wall and creating a pattern that opened it.

"Welcome to our base. Make yourselves comfortable."

The inside of the base was massive, so massive that it could fit everyone who was trapped in this time bubble inside perfectly.

"Wow! To create something like this in the loop is extremely impressive. How did you do it?" Sasha, being a dwarf, was very impressed by their work.

"The only benefit of being in this time loop is keeping our memories. Because of that, we’re able to work efficiently every cycle. It is a bit hard when some of the women and men regress to being children, but everything is fine besides that point."

That sparked a question in Kai’s head. "Tell me, do those gods remember each cycle?"

He assumed they did since Gods exist out of time, but he didn’t know how it worked when a god used time on another god.

"Yes, they do. This is also why it’s hard to progress. If they didn’t, we would have been able to push further than before."

Kai doubted that, but he understood what she meant.

"Tell me, are there any key locations that we need to be wary about? Any forts, domains, anything?" Nadya was the one to ask this question.

"Yes. There are five key locations that we need to destroy in order to reach the main goddess, who is the key to leaving this place." Thalia explained

"Was the castle area we were at one of them?" Kai asked

She nodded. "Yes. The five locations are the outer forts and the inner castle. We were just at the inner castle, and I attacked that place because it’s the hardest to beat. So, if I got it out of the way, then I would be able to handle the rest."

"I see. Are the other forts guarded by gods as well?"

"No. I think they are guarded by demigods. At least that’s what I heard."

"What? Gods?!" Amaya wasn’t expecting to handle multiple gods.

"We’re fighting against multiple gods, Kai?" Nadya asked

He nodded. "Yeah, but that’s the least of our problems. The big boss is a Titaness. She’s extremely powerful."

"More powerful than you?" Gwen was hoping that wasn’t the case because if that was the case, then they would be in big trouble.

"Unfortunately, she is. Titans are outer gods who’ve comprehended the laws of the universe. I can use the power of laws, but because it’s not a part of my being, as I’ve never comprehended them, I’m not as powerful as a Titan."

"Ugh. Dammit Kai! This is your fault!" Amaya jumped on his back.

"How is this my fault? Telia was the one who brought us here! I assumed it was a god that we were fighting, not a titan."

Nadya rubbed his arm to calm him down and smiled. "Do you think you can take her on if you go all out?"

"Maybe. But it will not be easy at all. Like, I’d struggle a lot, and while I know I won’t die, I don’t know if I’d definitely win. I could try to poison her with Progenitor Decay, though."

"Then try that. It will make things easier for us?" Gwen didn’t want Kai to struggle, so if he could beat her like that, then she would advise him to do so.

"Yeah, I agree."
