Chapter 541: Demigod battle
Chapter 541: Demigod battle
"Don’t bother Kai and his mission. He’s working his way up to becoming a primodial." Leo informed her.
"Working his way up? Father, he’s not like your lower-born children. He’s the son of you and my mother; he’s a natural primordial. Why would he need to work for his power?"
"See! That’s what I asked! But this bitch doesn’t want me to do that!" Kai was glad he had someone who understood how he felt.
"And didn’t you expierence why that’s a bad thing not too long ago?" Leo asked Kai.
"Ahem. Irrelevant."
"And the thing with Aion," Andromeda continued. "That’s your fault. Why are you having my cute baby brother handle this situation?"
Kai was starting to understand what Torrigan was talking about.
’Maybe having a sister isn’t too bad.’ He started tearing up.
"This isn’t any of your concern, Andromeda. Why are you even here in the first place? You should be in Divinity City."
"I was in Divinity City, but unlike you, I started investigating why a lot of gods started going missing. During my investigation, I learned that Aion had either killed those who went against him or forced those who surrendered to submit to him. Every deity here is who submitted."
Leo nodded. "Yes, I already knew that."
"And you did nothing about it?"
"No."
"Why?" She was starting to get angry.
"Because once Kai kills Aion, I’m going to reset the universe."
"You’re going to what?!" Her anger started to build up so much that Leo had to force her power into submission so she didn’t destroy the planet.
"Relax. I don’t plan on erasing everything. I plan on restarting the part of the universe that Aion destroyed, as well as getting rid of the gods who aren’t doing their jobs."
"Oh." Andromeda calmed down.
"Hold on? Gods have jobs?" Kai didn’t know that.
"No, not all of them. Reaching godhood is a very incredible thing to do for mortals, so they can do what they want. The same applies to gods who were born that way. However, once they take control of a domain, such as a planet, galaxy, or part of the universe, then they have to nurture it."
"Ohhh, okay. And some of the gods in those positions aren’t nurturing their domains?"
"Yes." Leo nodded. "I plan on shrinking the infinite verse into only one single universe, then after building up this universe, I’ll have Kai create other universes to nurture and continue that process until the infinite verse is back."
"The big crunch," Kai muttered.
"Yes, the scientist on Earth did call this event the big crunch. And you, Kai, will be the new big bang."
"You said I can bang any woman I want across the universe?"
Andromeda slapped him across the back of his head. "Perv."
"Haha! If that’s what you wish, then I don’t mind, but no, that’s not what I meant."
"Heh, I know. Hey, sis, wanna marry me?"
Andromeda looked at Kai and thought about it. "You’re definitely the best looking out of all our brothers, and I have no interest in marrying a lower-born god. Also, I would rather choose from our family, but our Father killed the potential candidates, and his lower-born children are a no-go for me. Fuck it, why not? Let’s get married."
"Pwahahahahahahahaha! Andromeda, he’s joking. He doesn’t want to marry you. He was making a joke." Leo couldn’t believe she fell for it.
"W-What?! Are you serious?"
Kai was already gone. He was not going to feel the wrath of his primordial sister. Unfortunately, she was also a primordial, one stronger than regular primordials, because she carried the spark of the progenitor, a trait all of Leo’s primordial kids had, not his Titan to Demigod kids, though.
This meant that no matter where Kai was, Andromeda would know, and when she appeared in front of Kai, he knew he was fucked. All he could do was pray. But pray to whom? Definitely not his father, so he prayed to his mother.
Her response?
"That’s what you get."
Kai cried.
---
"Fuck, why isn’t my eye healing?" Andromeda had left the planet due to Leo’s orders and returned to Divinity City.
When she had caught up with Kai, she punched him in the face for being disrespectful. He didn’t blame her. Kai killed people for less. The only thing that bothered him was his injuries. They weren’t healing one bit.
Thankfully, all he had was a black eye. Unfortunately, it made him look like a potato. So when he rescued the remaining people from this part of the kingdom, they all got scared upon seeing his puffy, super swolled, teary black eye.
"Hey, do you think Drome beat his ass?" A demigod asked, walking over to Kai.
"Yeah. Black eyes are her thing after all."
"Where did she go?"
"Who knows. You know she’s always running off."
As if on queue, the demigods approached Kai after he rescued everyone, and they did not have good intentions, as seen by the malicious smiles they all had with the raging bloodlust coming from their bodies.
"Drome? Oh, Andromeda." Kai put it together. "Listen, you weaklings. If you surrender now, I will spare you and allow you to live another day."
"Bwahaha! You hear this guy?"
"Fucking clown!"
"You’re nothing but a lower demigod. Do you seriously think you can—"
Kai grabbed the man’s head and crushed it with his hand.
"Sorry, that guy was really ugly, and I couldn’t stand watching him speak. So, who wants to be next?"
The demigods looked around at each other and all busted out laughing.
"You think you did something because you killed the weakest out of all of us?"
"Drome must have really rattled your brain for you to think that you can actually do shit against us."
"You and that stupid black eye!"
Kai lost it. "Okay! Fuck sparing all of you! You’re all dead!" Kai moved like a blur, zigzagging between demigods until he reached the other side, turning around to see a zigzag pattern of dead bodies that dropped to the ground, divine essences destroyed and all.
"Still think I’m nothing?"
"F-Fuck! Kill him!"
They all jumped Kai.
