The Hero of Hypnosis

Chapter 544: A bar fight with some gods

Chapter 544: A bar fight with some gods

"You’re an adventurer?" The woman asked, looking down at Kai’s license.

"That’s right. Got any requests?" Kai took a seat and waved his hand for a drink.

The god pretending to be a bartender poured a drink for Kai and passed it to him.

Kai tossed the god a gold coin. "Appreciate it. Keep the change."

"Thanks, dear customer. Enjoy your drink."

Kai drank the beer, but it tasted like shit. He didn’t really care for alcohol anyway.

"What type of request do you want?" The woman asked

"One that will be a challenge. So a really difficult request. Preferably one where I can kill people." Kai purposely looked around at all of the gods and smiled.

They knew that he was referring to them, but they didn’t really pay him any mind since they assumed he was a god. Everyone here knew who Kai was as well, which is why the guild went silent when he walked in.

"I have just what you are looking for. Here, this request is right up your alley." The woman lunged at Kai, but he grabbed her arm, pulled her forward, and then slammed her head on the counter, breaking both the counter and her head.

All of the gods shifted in their seats, not expecting Kai to do that, and saw him in a different light, one that made them want to kill him even more.

The woman healed, as Kai didn’t kill her, and she glared at his emotionless eyes, a shiver going down her spine.

"If you want to leave, then I’ll spare you. You can’t kill anyone, tho. And you can’t side with Aion anymore."

The woman looked at her fellow gods, then looked back at Kai. "I’ll leave."

"Good choice," Kai called for his father, and he sent her away. The reason why Kai allowed her to leave is that he wanted to build his image among the gods.

He was actually trying to hypnotize them during this time, but he noticed that Leo didn’t allow him to hypnotize the gods. The mortals were fair game, though.

"What a bitch."

"No, she’s just smart." Kai repaired the counter and waited for everyone to make a move.

"So, who wants to make the first move?" Kai got another drink, but spat it out because it was disgusting.

One god was up for the challenge and lunged at Kai, but his head was off before he even reached him.

"Next?"

Every god lunged at Kai.

The normal reaction to something like this would be to run away or get into a fighting position, maybe even beg for your life. Dealing with multiple gods was no joke after all.

Kai, on the other hand, didn’t feel like doing any of that.

He continued sitting at the front counter, facing forward, and punched a god in the face who charged at him from the left.

One god tried to cut Kai in half, but the sword bounced off a barrier that Kai had put up, and without looking behind him, he cut the man in half.

Another god thought that if a sword couldn’t get through, then his fists would, so he punched the barrier with all his might, shattering his arm.

"Arghhh! Fuckkk! My arm!"

Kai blasted that man in the head.

"Hey, handsome, if you spare my life, then I’ll serve you at all times, even in bed." This goddess knew she wouldn’t stand a chance against Kai, so that only left her with the ability to use her beauty against him.

Unfortunately for her, Kai wasn’t so easily honey-trapped, so when he extended his arm to her, acting as he agreed, he burned the goddess to death when she grabbed his hand.

"You go left, I’ll go right, and he goes for the back!" A god coordinated with two others.

"Got it!"

"Right behind you!"

They came at Kai in three different directions, only for an invisible force to grab their throats, lifting them up in the air.

"Is this really everything you guys have? You’re gods, why are you fighting like fucking losers?"

"You wanna see the power of a god? Then I’ll show you!" The sky split apart as an angry goddess cast a divine spell. Rays of golden light shone through the open sky, and a swirling energy mass started to form.

"You’ll regret letting me use this attack! Die, you stupid bastard! Titanhood is mine!"

The swirling light morphed into a massive golden bow and arrow, made out of pure energy, and it was fired into the guild, obliterating not only the establishment but also the surroundings.

Gods were knocked back, the already destroyed city was more destroyed, and a large dust cloud cut off everyone’s vision.

"Damn, she really killed him!"

"That was overpowered!"

"I’m glad I’m not on her bad side."

"Heh, I-I did it! Hahahaha! I killed Kai! Titanhood is mine! My power was enough to kill Kai!"

"That attack was okay, I guess," Kai replied. He was sitting in the same spot, still facing forward, and was still holding up the three gods who attacked him previously.

Once the dest fully settled, all of the gods noticed that every single mortal was still alive, a white barrier protecting them all from the destruction.

"I-Impossible! Y-You shouldn’t have been able to survive that! I gave it my all!"

This was when Kai finally decided to get up. He snapped the necks of the three gods, dropped their bodies, and then approached the goddess.

"You giving it your all does not mean your all is something. You know, I didn’t even block the attack. I let it hit me. Look at my body and tell me the amount of damage it did."

She looked all around but couldn’t see any damage at all.

"N-None."

"What was that?"

She spoke up while her head hung down. "None."

"That’s what I thought." He ripped out her heart.

"I surrender.’

"Me too."

"I can’t win."

"Please spare me."

Kai looked around, smiled, then spoke one word. "Kneel."
