Chapter 592: Nolan vs. Order of Life (2)

Boom!

Boom!

Explosions erupted everywhere as Nolan and the Order of Life exchanged blows.

"Die!"

The Order of Life raised his fist and swung at Nolan’s face.

Boom!

Nolan managed to block it, but his body was hurled hundreds of meters away, crashing into the surrounding ruins.

Whoosh!

The Order of Life appeared above him, twisted his body, and shot down at incredible speed.

Boom!

Black smoke billowed into the air, obscuring the view. Seconds later, the smoke cleared—and Nolan, who should have been hit, had completely disappeared.

The Order of Life was shocked and about to turn around when a powerful fist struck his back, sending him flying a kilometer away.

"What a great punching bag," Nolan whispered with a grin.

How long had it been since he had fought like this?

He couldn’t remember. Maybe two or three years.

In any case, all his opponents would die instantly. Only singularities could match his strength—and even among them, only the Singularity of Light had ever fought him seriously.

"Hahaha! Really... you are truly mysterious, Nolan Lorian!"

The Order of Life appeared in the air, disheveled. His wounds had healed, as if they had never existed.

Nolan looked up and smiled faintly. "You’re not disappointing either, old man."

At the words "old man," the Order of Life’s smile froze instantly.

His face darkened, and his lips twitched.

"You really are a prince without manners, aren’t you? Fine. I won’t play around anymore! Hear my call, Alvas!"

Whoosh!

The giant green dragon from before suddenly appeared in the sky and charged toward Nolan.

Facing the attack, Nolan remained calm. He took a step back, and in an instant, his figure reappeared forty meters away.

Boom!

The spot where he had stood shattered into pieces, forming a crater two meters deep.

"Oh? You’re pretty good too. That was teleportation magic, right? I really underestimated you, kid," the Order of Life teased, a playful smile on his face.

He landed on the head of the green dragon Alvas and stared coldly at Nolan.

"Now, it’s two against one. I’m not sure you can last five minutes," he said proudly.

Nolan chuckled softly. "Is that what you think? Then what if it’s two against two?"

The Order of Life froze at his words. Before he could react, Nolan raised his right hand.

"Arnold, hear my call!"

Whoosh!

A giant black magic circle appeared in the sky. Fifty meters wide, it spun slowly.

Its presence instantly reduced hundreds of monsters below to ash.

"W-What the hell is that!?" The Order of Life trembled in horror.

Alvas seemed just as frightened, sensing the pressure of the magic circle pressing against his bloodline.

Soon after, a black dragon tens of meters long emerged from the circle.

It had four wings—two large, two small.

Two horns towered above its head, and its row of sharp fangs could intimidate anyone who met its gaze.

Nolan jumped, vanished into the air, and reappeared beside Arnold.

"Arnold, fight the green dragon while I take on that man," he ordered.

Arnold gave a slight nod. "As you command, Master."

With a powerful roar, he flapped his wings and charged at Alvas.

The green dragon was caught off guard, its body slammed backward with tremendous force.

The Order of Life was thrown violently and tumbled downward.

Just as he struggled to regain his balance, Nolan appeared before him, a smirk playing across his face.

"This time, I’m going to get serious!"

He grabbed the man by the face and shouted, "Dimensional Rift!"

A portal, like a tear in space, opened before him. Without hesitation, Nolan dragged the Order of Life into it, and both vanished from view.

Roar!

Arnold let out a soul-piercing roar and clamped his jaws down on Alvas’ neck.

Alvas, not to be outdone, launched his attack in return. The two dragons—black and green—clashed fiercely.

"Over there, uncle! Nolan is fighting that man!"

Kaede pointed ahead, panting. But then she froze—Nolan was nowhere to be seen.

"Eh? Where is he?" Her eyes widened in shock. "He was just here!"

It hadn’t even been fifteen minutes since she ran for help, yet both had vanished, which made no sense.

Except for one possibility—Nolan... was dead.

"Impossible! This is absolutely impossible!" Kaede cried, fear in her voice. "Nolan can’t be dead! This must be a mistake!"

She clutched her head, her face pale, tears welling in the corners of her eyes.

"It can’t be... this must be a mistake!"

Seeing her distress, Toji quickly moved to calm her.

"Princess, don’t hurt yourself," he said gently. "Maybe they’re fighting somewhere else. Let’s go look for them."

Frankly, Toji had little confidence that Nolan would survive. Kaede had told him that Nolan’s opponent was a mysterious man responsible for the disaster in Hinode.

Given that this man could cause such chaos, it was no wonder his power was extraordinary.

"Y-You’re right." Kaede drew in a shaky breath, regaining her composure, and hurriedly grabbed Toji’s hand. "Come on, uncle! Let’s find them!"

Watching her determination, Toji could only smile helplessly and whisper, ’She really loves her nephew.’

As they ran toward the south side of the city, a loud roar tore through the sky.

Startled, they looked up and saw two dragons—one black, one green—locked in a fierce battle.

"Two dragons?" Kaede’s eyes widened. "H-How could there be another dragon? Where did it come from?"

She remembered there being only one—the green one. Yet now, another had appeared, leaving her confused.

Whoosh!

A shockwave from their clash rushed toward them. Toji quickly pulled Kaede back, raised his katana, and slashed.

"Sun God Technique: Sky Slash!"

A slash of fire shot out, colliding with the shockwave and triggering a massive explosion in the air.

Toji hastily carried Kaede away from the battlefield; otherwise, they would have been killed instantly.

...

Boom!

Nolan landed a powerful punch on the Order of Life’s face. The man’s body was sent crashing downward, carving a two-meter-deep crater.

Not stopping there, Nolan lunged down with his silver-glowing fist.

"Take this, you bastard!"

Boom!

The blow shattered the Order of Life’s face, cracks racing across the ground for hundreds of meters before erupting.

Earth and debris shot upward, filling the air with dust and smoke. Nolan pulled his hand back and shook it in disgust.

The man’s blood was green and incredibly sticky, like slime.

Even so, Nolan knew he wasn’t finished yet. The Order of Life would surely heal himself.

And just as he expected, the man’s wounds closed in the blink of an eye, a grin spreading across his face.

"You’ve fallen into my trap... hehehe..."
