Chapter 835: Preparations Before Starting the Plan
Chapter 835: Preparations Before Starting the Plan
"Everything you need is in this magic bracelet," Sylvia said, handing the blue bracelet to Nolan.
Nolan accepted it and examined the bracelet. As expected, all the items he needed were inside.
"Thank you." Nolan smiled gently, slipped the bracelet into his pocket, and ruffled Sylvia’s hair. "Sorry for putting you through all this. But don’t worry—I’m not asking for your help for nothing."
He opened his palm, and a small bottle of potion appeared in it.
"Take it."
Sylvia accepted it and examined the bottle carefully. Inside was a deep blue liquid.
"What kind of potion is this?"
"I don’t know its name, but I found it on the Island of Silence. You know about that island, don’t you?"
Sylvia’s eyes widened in surprise.
The Island of Silence was a mysterious island said to have appeared several hundred years ago on the western continent.
According to countless legends, the island had fallen from heaven and was filled with extraordinary treasures. However, to this day, no one had managed to find it.
Sylvia hadn’t expected Nolan to have visited the island and brought back something from it.
"I know." Sylvia regained her composure before asking hesitantly, "Have you really been there?"
Nolan nodded.
"Yeah."
Sylvia immediately perked up.
"What’s it like there? Is there really a lot of treasure?"
Nolan was taken aback by her enthusiasm before letting out a soft chuckle.
"That place is located in the middle of the ocean, far from any continent. It’s impossible to find because a mysterious barrier hides it from the world. You need a special token to enter, and only a lucky few ever obtain one," he explained calmly. "As it happens, I got one by chance and managed to enter. As for the treasure..."
Nolan’s expression turned serious.
"It’s real, and there’s an enormous amount of it. There are countless rare potions, but the monsters living there aren’t ordinary either. I even vaguely sensed a monster that surpasses a catastrophe-level monster."
Sylvia’s face paled at the revelation. Even a single catastrophe-level monster was already terrifying. At full strength, one could destroy half the continent.
So just how powerful was a monster above the catastrophe level?
It might even be capable of destroying the entire world.
Just the thought of it was enough to make Sylvia tremble with fear.
"Don’t think about it too much."
Nolan gently patted her head.
"Even though that monster is incredibly powerful, it’s still fast asleep on the island. As long as no one disturbs it, it won’t wake up."
Sylvia let out a sigh of relief. Nolan clearly understood what she was worried about.
"By the way, that potion is meant to help a Sage Mage break through to the Celestial level. I’ve already checked it, so I can assure you it’s safe."
Sylvia was stunned by his explanation. A Celestial Mage held immense influence. Having even one more Celestial Mage would greatly strengthen the Tower of Silence.
Her body trembled with excitement.
"Remember, only give that potion to people who are loyal to you. That way, you’ll have more influence in the Tower of Silence," Nolan reminded her.
Sylvia nodded.
"I understand. Thanks for the advice."
Nolan smiled in satisfaction.
After talking a little longer, Sylvia left.
Nolan stood there quietly, taking a deep breath before slowly letting it out.
He looked at the grass swaying in the wind.
"It’s not time yet... There’s still something I need to finish," he muttered.
His original plan had been to return to Earth right away and reunite with his soulmate. But he still had a lot of unfinished business to take care of.
A few days ago, Shion had sent him important news about a major intercity project. It was being developed by the Red Rose Trading House, owned by Nathan Asbourne’s mother.
Shion had already figured out the overall plan. However, because it was a strategic project that required government support, Nolan’s role became crucial.
In the past, it would have been difficult for Nolan to negotiate with his father. After all, he held no real influence in the imperial palace.
But not anymore. His influence in the imperial palace could no longer be underestimated, especially after everything he had accomplished through the missions Ragan had entrusted to him.
At first, Nolan hadn’t wanted to stand out. He had only hoped to live a carefree life.
But deep down, he knew that was nothing more than wishful thinking.
Ever since he was born into this world, living a carefree life had been impossible—unless his younger sister ascended the throne.
"Ugh..." Nolan sighed helplessly. "The issue with Shion still isn’t resolved, and now I can’t stop thinking about the news Malverna told me earlier."
His expression turned cold.
"The incarnation of the Goddess of Life..."
...
Five days later...
"You want to leave?" Seira asked, confused.
Nolan nodded.
"Yeah, I’ve got something to take care of. You can go ahead."
Seira felt reluctant, but she couldn’t go against his wishes.
"Once you’re done, come back. I’ll make dinner for you."
"Oh?" Nolan raised an eyebrow. "You can actually cook?"
Seira rolled her eyes.
"I couldn’t cook before, but that was a long time ago. Now I can," she replied confidently.
She couldn’t tell Nolan that she had been experiencing strange things lately. Mysterious memories had suddenly begun surfacing in her mind.
At first, Seira didn’t think much of it. However, those memories kept lingering in her mind. At the same time, they had somehow given her the ability to cook.
It sounded unbelievable, but Seira couldn’t tell Nolan about it.
Nolan didn’t say anything. Even if the food didn’t taste good, he could always make something else later. It wasn’t a big deal.
Nolan turned to Rafine.
"What about you? Do you want to wait for me or head back to the eastern region first?"
Rafine was surprised by the question. She hesitated for a moment before answering firmly, "I’ll wait for you. It’s better if we go back together. Besides, Elina is away and won’t be back anytime soon."
Nolan nodded, then gently patted Eira on the head.
"Go back with them. I’ll be back tonight."
"Okay!" Eira replied with a bright smile, nodding obediently.
Nolan gently pinched her cheek before walking away.

"Hahaha! Damn! I hit the jackpot last night!"
"Oh? How much did you win?"
"Not much, just a few thousand Sharn."
"Seriously? Damn! You’re one lucky bastard!"
The men chatted and laughed as they sipped their beer.
Nolan stepped inside, glanced around, then walked toward the bar.
"Welcome, sir. What would you like to drink?" the female bartender asked politely.
Nolan wasn’t in the mood for small talk and got straight to the point.
"Call Jorgan over. There’s something I want to ask him."
