Chapter 1749: Blood Is Thicker Than Water (2)
CRACK
The void cracked, and a void gate made purely out of blood shattered open. From its crimson depth, Asura and Nyrela stepped out, holding hands.
As they walked out through the void gate, a sea of blood poured out, rising to form a storm of blood, one that instantly created a chilling atmosphere over everyone present.
Even though one could not see their expressions because the masks covered their faces, Klaus could tell from their body language that the Nine Deadly Omens were scared of Asura.
While they weren’t afraid of Asura, per se, considering he was merely a God King, even weaker in cultivation than Rhazor, he had this feeling of dread and bloodthirstiness that made them instantly wary of him.
This immediately awakened a primal fear in their hearts.
“The Nine Deadly Omens, as I live and breathe,” Asura said, looking at the nine masked individuals staring at him with a smug expression.
They were dangerous, but he was also very dangerous.
“Who are you, and what do you want?” Under normal circumstances, they would have attacked without question.
However, because of the unusual feeling they kept getting from Asura, they asked, perhaps to make sure they understood where he stood.
Asura smiled and pointed at Rhazor, “You remember when he said even if you kill him, another him will come? Yeah, well, I am one of those other hims. You can call me Asura.”
Eyes widened, and many gasped again, not expecting the Blood King, as many had started calling him, to be another incarnation of the Paragon.
Asura doubled down on his identity, “In simple terms, I am another body of the Paragon, here with my lady to dominate and save my own ass. The irony in that, am I right?”
Rhazor smirked, and his friends laughed.
On the other hand, the Nine Deadly Omens narrowed their eyes at Asura. “So killing you two means two more of you will finally be dead for good.”
Rhazor laughed and replied, “If only it were that simple. You see, killing us will only cost us a little spiritual Qi. In fact, death, as you guys know it, doesn’t work on us, so maybe think about what will happen when, after you kill us, we return stronger and more motivated.
In short, if you kill us, we can be resurrected by reforging new bodies using spiritual Qi, which we have in abundance by the way.”
Asura took over, “But that will never happen because we will be killing you all, every last one of you.”
“We shall see about that.” The Nine Deadly Omens were ready to battle, and Rhazor could sense that.
He turned and looked at Asmodeus. “I know it is overkill, but since we all have to temper ourselves, you will take two of them.
Danny, Miguel and Kay, you three will take one of them.
Daniel, Kilian and Jason, you will also take one of them. As for you, Mark, you and Gorr will handle one more, leaving only four more to take care of.”
Rhazor smiled and looked at Akutaq. “You can have one of them, and my buddy Matthew, you can take the other one. I will handle one more, and Asura will take care of the last.”
“What about us?” Scarlet asked, looking at Klaus with a face of injustice…
They weren’t included in the battle, which felt like an understatement.
Klaus smiled and turned toward Nyrela. “Take them to the valley and kill every last stray dog you see. After that, loot their treasures and make sure every last weapon in storage becomes ours by the time this battle is over.”
Nyrela, now an Asura, smiled and nodded. “Consider it done.”
“In that case, gentlemen, let’s show these fuckers who they have offended.”
“AaaaahhHHH!” Danny charged toward one of the masked figures who went by Azrael, the Death Harbinger, his axe raised and poised for an attack.
They also called him the First Omen because his mask bore the number one.
But Danny was forced to stop in his tracks when suddenly a beam came from his opponent, arriving before him in an instant.
BOOM
Miguel appeared and blocked the attack with his axe, allowing Danny to retain his life. What could have been his death was prevented, and thanks to that, he saw the kind of danger they had walked into.
“Nice… hahahaha… this is nice.” His voice boomed, and then he charged forward again, this time arriving before his opponent.
“World Breaking Axe!” His voice boomed, and then his axe enlarged. The next second, the entire planet shook, cracks appearing in the sky.
Azrael was pushed back, separating him from the eight others.
“Good job, Danny.” Klaus smiled and looked at one of the masked figures, called Ereshka, the Second Omen. “Time for us to dance too.”
Klaus (Rhazor) used the same technique he had used against the Twin Dagger Fiend to move, hoping to grab Ereshka by the neck. However, he was met with nothing but air.
She dodged, which, to Rhazor, was very disrespectful.
But he didnt get the chance to complain since the next moment, however, his spine cracked, and he was sent flying into the ground.
Ereshka appeared behind him and, using the sole of her shoe, she landed a deadly blow on his back, causing Rhazor to wish he had never had a spine.
“Damn, bro, she KO’d you.” Asura laughed, looking at Rhazor, who was now in the dirt, his brows knitted, a frown gracing his handsome face…
“Shut up, bastard. Focus on your own fight.”
A sword appeared in Rhazor’s hand, and he moved, unleashing deadly flame arcs. Ereshka tried to dodge some, but she soon found out she couldn’t.
Seeing this, she unleashed her own weapon in the form of a bell. The moment it rang, Klaus felt like his soul had been slammed by a hammer.
“Unshakable Soul.” He activated a soul skill, reinforcing his soul.
“Damn, this bitch is dangerous.” Klaus wasn’t even done making heads or tails of the nature of Ereshka when a scream came from the left…
“AAAAHHHHHHH!”
Turning toward the noise briefly, he saw the most chilling sight.
Asmodeus, who had been tasked with fighting two Omens, stood on a stone platform watching as seven Pseudo-Primordial undead humanoids, three Pseudo-Primordial werewolves and two Undead Angels ganged up on the two Omens.
He had targeted the Eighth and Ninth Omens, making them wish they had never met the bastard known in the past, and who would soon be known by all as the Undead Sovereign, Asmodeus.
