Chapter 760 - 1v2v1.
Chapter 760: 1v2v1.
A dagger that absorbed all the surrounding light, and had a dangerous purple edged attuned to the element of space. A body so strong it could topple hills by a mere punch.
Weight, speed, and most important of all, teamwork. A pair of twins, it seemed like, both with ebony black hair and blood-red eyes, each of them was a flawless work of art, no imperfections at the least.
[Skill: ’Dragon Eye’s’ has been activated.]
His eyes began to glow a deep blue, contrasting the red eyes of his surprising foes as their information was revealed to him.
[The Vampiric Twins, Alpha and Beta.]
[Description: Modified vampires from birth by Almada. They are destined to be the pinnacle of their species, and rank. The knights of house Almada.
Beta has increased physical reinforcement, and a master fighter, with strength trained from birth, whilst Alpha is a master sorcerer, and is also adept at weapon arts.
Approximate age: 500+ years.

The list continued, displaying their information, to their favorite type of blood... to their stats.
Alan stopped the skill when the strain became too much to bear, and stared at the two standing opposite to him. Both of them were locked on to him, and it didn’t seem like they were in the mood to talk.
That was not his main cause of worry, however. Sabrina was gone, in a space he couldn’t break through. He knew she was trapped in a special kind of conjured space, but trying to force his way through was not working...
And that was not all... Something else was also coming, far in the distance. It would take some time for whatever it was to arrive, but merely the aura was overwhelming. The scent of malice and blood was off-putting.
Alan had to deal with these two before that thing appeared. Sadly, He didn’t think he had enough time. Individually, these two vampires were easy to deal with. Alan could crush [Beta] with pure strength, no matter how strong he was, he wasn’t as strong as Alan.
While with [Alpha], he could simply overpower her with mana. He had a lot of it, after all. Though, he was very interested in that dagger she held. It oozed spatial mana, and it could cut through his skin and muscle like it was butter.
That was an interesting item he was going to take... Maybe it could help him advance in his spatial magic. He was going to take it, no matter what.
But, how? A small tidbit of information provided by dragon eyes was;
[Together, they are undefeatable.]
Of course, they weren’t really undefeatable even if they were together, something really powerful could overpower them both together. But there had to some significance to it, especially with his current level if dragon eyes said it.
Alan placed the Ame-No-Sakahoko in his inventory, in this situation, where that [Beta] seemed to be a closed ranged fighter and had a capable support, it would be difficult to use the spear. He had seen [Beta]’s power and speed, and the ability of [Alpha] to teleport would just make his spear a disadvantage.
Ice started to cover his fists, and some parts of his body, acting as an armor of sorts. An armor that wasn’t stuffy and hot as fuck. Alan activated his partial Draconian transformation as well, growing bigger, sprouting wings, a spiky tail, and tough scales.
The two siblings jumped back as he finished, he was expelling his mana like a storm so they wouldn’t be able to disturb. His Draconian form was slow, even with his exceptional strength and power, Alan always felt like he couldn’t move as fast as wanted.
But there was a benefit as well... He was a complete tank, even the strongest of blows back on Earth could barely scratch his scales, and those that did manage to get through them did not matter, he would regenerate in seconds.
In partial transformation, he felt as if he could remain as flexible and fasted as he wanted, sacrificing only some defense. In front of Kizmal, it may have been useless... But now?
Planting his feet into the ground, lowering his body stance and bracing his arms... He felt powerful, after all. This was not Kizmal.
This was not a giant who devoured stars, a being who cast down lightning as thick as trunks of trees thousands of years old, this wasn’t a being whose blood burned his very flesh to ash.
These, were just two overgrown bats.
’Sabrina would be scared if she met them, right?’
He chuckled, as [Beta], the flawless man lunged at him, Alan planted his left foot forward, and punched as well, his fist collided with [Beta]’s and the shockwave from their clash blew all the debris away. The ruined walls of the castle, the thorny gardens, the verdant trees.
All of it, blown away, but even amidst all that destruction, Alan heard a sweet, sweet, succulent sound.
’Crack!’
The sound of bone’s breaking, the smell of blood leaving a body, the feeling of shock, and weakness. In front of his very eyes, the fist that had collided with his own staggered, fingers broken, sweet blood escaping [Beta]’s clenched mouth, and the look of fear, and confusion, and weakness in his eyes.
A smirk appeared on his face, as he finally met someone who couldn’t overpower him in every single way imaginable. This was not a giant who he could not defeat alone.
This was just a vampire who thought he was strong.
It was so fun.
He threw a hook punch at the bastard whose body was still numb, and saw him flying hundreds of meters away, blood leaving every orifice of his body, and a shattered chin. His body was stopped only by a comfy mattress made of mana appeared behind him.
Alan slowly turned his head towards [Alpha], who flinched when she met his cold blue eyes, the red in her own disappeared, either hidden by the darkness or her own fear. The woman stepped back, and Alan appeared in front of her, in an instant.
Towering over her, the dagger seemed like a needle to him at this point, and although she tried to swing it, his tail caught her hand, and he grabbed it, depositing the dagger in his spatial inventory.
And then, he raised his hand, intending to cleave her head from her neck, but before it could happen, a storm of mana appeared all around him, with thousands of blades hidden in the storm.
But they were nothing compared to the verdant storm he had just gone through, the green hell where the wind would slaughter him.
These, could only scratch his scales... These, were weak.
Alan appeared from the storm of mana, unbothered from the onslaught of magical blades, staring down at Alpha from above.
********
Five hundred and eighty-six years of life. Five hundred and eighty-six, and yet it in all those years, all those months, all those days... In the centuries I had been alive, I had never met something like this.
Something, so unstoppable, so powerful, so... insanely durable. My heart began to beat once more due to fear as I saw that monster appear right in front of me, using teleportation and snatch my dagger. I had just seen this monster fling my brother with a single punch, so I just cast a magical blade storm to distract him. But I had expected it to do something... at the very least.
Those blades were not that weak... they could cut through steel, not just scratch some scales...
For five hundred years I had honed my mana, my magic, according to my Mother’s guidance, the strongest I had ever known, and yet I still felt as if my mana was lesser than his, by far.
Like I only held a large bucket, and was trying to compete with a raging ocean.
And it was just not me, the shock I and Beta received when he shrugged off Beta’s punch. For five hundred years he had focused only on strength, only on fighting, increasing his power and physical might was the only thing he had focused on every day, without break.
Yet, it barely tickled the monster in front of him. I had seen [Beta] lose in a battle of strength for the first time in a while, the very man that could humble giants.
’What are you?’
It was not like we were facing a singular foe, but rather a fortress. An impenetrable fortress, an unstoppable force that could decimate us if we gave him the chance.
It was like I was in front of my mother, no... this thing was far more terrifying than my own mother, the queen of vampires, and more terrifying than the traitor.
This monter should not exist. He defies the very laws of this universe.
The physical might, and instincts, and mastery over combat of a God beast.
The infinite mana pool, the gifts, and mastery over magic of a Dragon.
This is not something that should exist in one, singular being.
