Chapter 826: Supreme Dragon of Darkness, Valus.(7).

It didn’t take long for Maxwell to find everybody, thankfully for him, Kazikato was conscious and could carry the injured Alexander, whilst he carried Edward on the back of his motorcycle.

Both of them were severely injured, but not a single one of those injuries was lethal. Shi Lam merely broke their bones and bruised them a bit.

’It’s a good thing I keep a lot of potions...’

It really was, he had equipped every spatial ring possessed by the team members to have the necessities an awakened needed, one of this was potions. A lot, a lot of potions...

Even if they were stranded in the Realm of Shadows, they had enough supplies to last two months, provided Alan and Kazikato controlled their appetites.

’There he is.’

They were currently moving towards Alan’s position, as shown on his radar. Alan was further than everybody else, somehow. Maxwell sighed as he looked up at the black sun.

’Aren’t we getting closer?’

It was hard to tell. He didn’t want to stare at it for too long, it was just... unsettling to even witness.

He was more concerned about the conversation he had with Shi Lam, and his Shadow, it didn’t do much, but he always felt as if it was looking at him.

His Shadow had gained a will after he passed the trial, or as Shi Lam pushed it, Awakened or unleashed.

’...’

Well, He would take anything he could get, he was too weak to make choices regarding awakened strength.

"I see Boss."

Kazikato spoke through the channel, he was flying as high as he could in the Realm of Shadows, and therefore spotted Alan much quicker than Maxwell.

’Well...’

Even if he hadn’t... the signs were already there. Snow on top of the Black sand, a random glacier in the distance... and of course the cold.

"..."

A dragon really does spam magic, a lot of magic... Alan turned every environment he was put in into a frozen tundra. Although here, the Realm of Shadows was recovering quickly.

On Earth... the place would probably become a resort or something like that. Alan’s ice wouldn’t melt under any normal heat back on Earth.

’Well, I should be glad I don’t see a random meteor here.’

Maxwell spotted something in the distance, a tall figure looking aimlessly at the skies, it was Alan, looking right at the Black Sun.

He noticed them, and turned to face them soon enough. And when he did, Maxwell felt his heart stop and almost crashed.

"... What the hell?"

He couldn’t spot the difference so soon, but Alan was different. There was almost no change in his physical form excluding a cape, but there was something different about him...

"..."

Was it the eyes? Or the demeanor? Maxwell couldn’t understand it properly. Nevertheless, he dismissed it and prepared to head forward once more...

But the need for it disappeared, as a chill ran through his body. Alan had teleported towards him, saving him the trouble, and giving a fright.

"... I always forget you can do that."

"Really? That’s lame, bro."

"..."

"Anyway, what happened to these guys?"

Maxwell rolled his eyes.

"Do you even need to ask? A robot samurai beat the shit out of them. Hurry up and heal them. I did the emergency treatment with potions."

Alan frowned, and grumbled, before a golden fire enveloped Edward and Alexander. With the bloodline of the Phoenix, he could emit a healing flame that was quite potent.

Although it took copious amounts of aura... He could change the source of energy to mana, but the effects would drop drastically.

After he was done, Alexander woke up almost instantly, he jerked up and hit Kazikato in the chin with his head.

"... Yo, I had the shit beaten out of me by a Robot Samurai."

"We all did."

"Nice."

Alexander stood up, and stretched his body. He looked around, a bit disappointed that he didn’t find any major bruise on Alan, Kazikato... and surprisingly Maxwell as well. Not even a single stain or crumple in his clothes...

"How...?"

Maxwell noticed, and shrugged his shoulders.

"He let me go."

"..."

At the very least, Edward had been beaten up. His lack of clothing explained it very well. He woke up soon enough as well, groaning and coughing in pain.

He also complained of a nightmare of having the living daylights beaten out of him by a robot samurai clad in black.

Alan sighed, and opened a portal to the platform back on Lanekia.

"He said he needs to prepare to send us to the world of darkness, let’s go back and wait, I guess."

Seeing something different from black was refreshing for the entire team...however, when they were reminded of the sheer cold of Lanekia, they were reluctant.

Maxwell started his motorcycle once more, and got a jealous stare from Alan.

"Where did you buy that? I need one."

"Why? Can’t you teleport? And can’t you fly as fast as a Jet?"

"So? I want a bike."

"... Fine, I’ll order one for you when we get back."

Satisfied with that answer, Alan stepped inside the portal, followed by everyone else.

However, much to Alan’s disappointment, the cold he missed was gone, replaced by warmth. Everyone else revelled in such a change in temperature on Lanekia. The planet that brought a chill to their very soul was gone...

Alan could sense a barrier of sorts placed around the platform, which was the cause of the irritating warmth.

"They’re back."

"Indeed they are."

"Where did that Bike come from?"

"Why is my brother shirtless?"

Said Alice, Sabrina, Olivia and Emma respectively, all enjoying a hearty meal around the campfire. Alan spotted Azmakul with them as well... enjoying steak.

"I’m envious, Prince, It’s been a while since I found food enjoyable."

"..."

Alexander sighed.

"So while we were getting our asses handed to us by a robot samurai, everyone here was busy having a picnic."

It really was unfair.

"Robot Samurai?"

"Don’t worry about it. Anything for us?"

Alan assured, compared to everybody else, he didn’t have as much trauma from Shi Lam. Alexander and Edward eyed him, but he ignored it, focusing more on the food.

It had been a while since he ate something...
