Vampire's Slice Of Life

Chapter 1193: Won’t It Drag Out The War?

Chapter 1193: Won’t It Drag Out The War?

In a bright green forest, under the canopy of tall trees.

"Haah… haah… haah…"

Zhao Shi lay flat on the ground with his limbs spread out, huffing and puffing as if he'd been through a great battle.

"I thought I was a dead man."

Nobody paid attention to his words.

Everyone had a grim look on their faces except for Lith.

"Who would've thought that they would bring out such a weapon." Roy tended to his wounds and said. The Asuras knew how to inflict damage onto the vampires as even a Legendary Rank like himself had trouble healing the deep wounds inflicted by asura artifacts.

"Well, that's the number two powerhouse for you." Lucas wrapped a bandage around his leg and said.

Lith, Fei, and Sylvia sat together on a mat and were having tea and snacks, as if they were on a picnic.

Taking a sip of tea, Lith asked, "Were you aware of this?"

Lucas shook his head. "It's the first time this has appeared because last time they weren't attacked first."

Lith nodded. He had heard of the details of their fall from Lucas before.

In his last life, Lith and his mother attacked the Evure God Clan together with his harem. Things proceeded smoothly and it was almost a one-sided massacre. Since it was no fun and Lith, Lilith, and Lucy all wanted to torture the Evure God Clan further, they let those guys run free in Shen Ze.

Some sneaky ones tried to make a breakthrough and ascend but were mercilessly shot down by Lilith.

The others knew it was over for them even if they made a run for their life. So they did the next best thing they could and dragged the Asuras down with them.

The Asuras had to take the whole force of the Evure God Clan and Octavia did not get time to put up a struggle, getting invaded in just a day.

The Asura King was not here and it didn't take long for the Asura God Clan to fall.

Now though, things have taken a different turn with Lith personally taking action. He wanted to bring both down with his own abilities and didn't want to rely on his mother. His mother was anyway quite busy. She was away from home for business.

Things were proceeding slowly as Lith prioritized bleeding both clans while suffering as few casualties as possible.

He made the two fight each other and ensured they did not find out there was a third party inciting all of this. This took the most time and effort from his side.

Naturally, what this also resulted in was the two clans getting a chance to fight back and show their trump cards they weren't able to show before.

It was quite annoying. Taking the instance of today where everyone felt helpless, such a situation would arise more times in future.

Knowing this, Lucas looked at Lith and asked, "Your Highness, don't you think this is tiring and may end up dragging things for a long time?"

Questioning one's master was akin to asking to be beheaded but things in this Vampire Royal Family were different. The maidservants were allowed to express their opinions as the head of the family, Queen Lilith, believed that things would get boring if all just agreed and kept bootlicking.

The Royal Servants were capable individuals, handpicked by Lilith herself. Lucas belonged to the second generation of servants picked by Lith. Naturally, he was taught the ways of a Royal Servant and did not fear asking Lith uncomfortable questions like this one.

Lith took a long sip of tea and glanced at him, making him worried.

'Perhaps, it was a wrong teaching to set me up? Servants definitely aren't allowed to question their masters!' Lucas broke out in cold sweat when he noticed Lith's serious expression.

Lith put his teacup down and took out his phone. He tapped on it a few times and handed it to Sylvia.

"Show this to everyone, Sylvia."

Sylvia didn't know what it was and just did as asked with a curt nod.

A huge screen manifested in front of everyone and immediately, screams and cries of civilians were heard.

"I-I didn't do anything! Don't hurt me! Don't hurt me!"

"The Baron is hiding here! Quick, quick, quick! I've found him, so spare me now!"

Chaotic scenes of commoner Asuras ratting out noble Asuras were displayed, surprising everyone present.

A person got killed on the screen and everyone knew it was a noble due to his luxurious robes and distinct appearance.

More and more such scenes played out in the span of a few minutes.

"Eh? Isn't that Viscount Verril? He's a cousin of the Asura General Menikel." Roy commented as he watched the man get killed in the hands of the commoner Asuras.

The commoners were given power boosting drugs by unknown men and this resulted in them not only finding out the nobles easily, but having the ability to fight back and even kill them.

The nobles were in great panic and tried to go into hiding, but it was all for naught as the commoners committed blitzkrieg on them.

Lith took another sip of tea. As it was close to finishing, he stared at it and said calmly, "It should be about time it finished."

"Fini—"

"Finished what, Master?" Zhao Shi didn't let Fei speak and interrupted. He was very curious to know how such problems were occurring in the Asura World suddenly.

Fei shot him a hateful look but didn't say anything. The answer was more important than the question and she was very curious too to know what was happening.

Lith took another sip. The tea was almost over. Just two more sips perhaps.

"The Asura Court. It's about to be finished." Lith said calmly.

"What!?!"

"WHAT!?!"

Roy had a stronger reaction than Zhao Shi and Lucas combined.

The Asura Court, this meant that the entire Asura nobility!

It was about to be finished!? Impossible! This was outright !

Octavia hadn't fallen yet so how could the nobles fall before it?

Lith took a final sip and put his teacup down. He stood up and said with the clap of his hand,

"Ladies and gentleman…"

Lith smiled.

"..the Asura Court is officially gone."
