Chapter 920: She Made A Call For Me
I made my way back to the store that I was just kicked out of not half an hour ago.
Right now, I wasn’t alone and I was most definitely not wearing my normal combat suit either.
Renata had transformed herself into an especially elegant dress that was basically one of the dresses that Vier had brought for me but changed into black in colour so that the Dragonling wasn’t drooling over me.
It was a strapless evening gown that had gems sewn into the top seams of the dress which left my cleavage open and a cut below that exposed my left leg up to the thigh. The fabric itself seemed to be shining with stars as even more gems were also sewn onto the cloth itself.
And yeah, the entire gang is with me right now.
I just sent out a quick message, telling everyone what happened and what I was intending to do... And suddenly everyone showed up almost instantly.
Not only that, they had even changed out of their usual clothes to match mine even though they weren’t supposed to know how I was dressed before they got here.
Amber was wearing a golden one shoulder, sequin cocktail dress where the hem of the dress stopped right above the knee, the dress so tight that it basically showed off all her curves and I couldn’t help but stare at that bottom of hers that the dress seemed to accentuate.
Lea surprisingly went for a more male oriented dress where she wore a suit jacket and pants with high heels but opted not to wear anything aside from her bra underneath so you could see her bra just peeking out under the suit from above.
Ries was a small surprise because she also opted for a dress as well, though it was a relatively simple black dress with long sleeves with a blazer thrown over it and the skirt stopping just at her knees, revealing her black stockings and heeled boots below.
Mara also wore a suit though hers was a more proper business suit with the jacket, pants, inner shirt and even a tie which made her look like some top CEO of some top company. Despite that, the bulge on her chest was definitely distracting.
In Yumiko’s case though, she had chosen to act like a bodyguard instead and she was wearing her normal combat armour with her swords belted on her waist prominently. The way her combat suit accentuates those legs and ass of hers though... I really want to put my face right in there.
Vieretha was, unsurprisingly, also wearing a very expensive looking dress, hers being white in colour to compliment mine and covering every inch of her skin without any hint of exposure. It made it look like she was wearing a bodysuit that ended in a skirt that stretched all the way down to her ankles, leaving nothing to the imagination.
Last but not least, there was Renata who had chosen to bring three of her bodies along, all of them wearing a maid uniform with the same hair colour and playing the part of a maid triplet serving me.
I don’t even know where they got those clothes from and decided that I shouldn’t ask.
Amber slipped her arm over my right while Vier slipped hers into my left, both of them sandwiching me in between them.
All of us walked towards the store, ignoring all the stares that the people around us were shooting us as we walked past.
Some of them were openly gaping at us while others were ogling my girls. Not that I blame them, they are all pretty hot.
We stopped right in front of the store, all of us looking at the glass doors that were still shut.
"This is the place, Tera?" Amber asked, scoffing at the store.
I nod, "Yep... This is the place."
Vier let out a sigh, "I thought better of a company like Crusaders Inc. To think that their standards have fallen so low."
"Well... I won’t blame the company as a whole but just the person himself. Now, shall we?"
My girls gave me a nod before we stepped up towards the glass doors, the doors sliding open to allow us to enter with a soft hiss.
The moment we stepped inside, a staff member bowed to greet us, this time it was a woman wearing a tight business suit and skirt instead of that guy that I saw.
"Welcome dear customers. How may I help you today?"
"Is a ’mister Able’ here?" I asked casually, acting like I was here to meet a friend.
The woman straightened herself, "Ah! Are you friends with Mister Able? He is right inside! Please allow me to guide you!"
The female staff suspected nothing as she happily guided all of us into the store, revealing there were a few other customers also inside, each with someone guiding them with their shopping experience.
We walked past the main area of the store and were guided to the back where it seems like only VIPs were granted access since there was even a lounge and everything.
And even here the people who saw us stopped what they were doing just to stare at us as we walked by.
I spotted that rude staff member standing in front of a lounge chair with a large screen projected in front of him, showing that same guy screens of various different Exo-Knights.
The guy had his arms thrown around the two girls he had brought along and was openly groping their chest unashamedly.
We went right up to them and the male staff paused as he noticed us appear in front of him.
He was giving us a confused look and his gaze swept over my group, not even stopping at me since he clearly didn’t recognise me in this new outfit.
The guy gave us a business-like smile, "Hello dear customers. Could I help you?"
The female staff turned to the guy on the couch and bowed, "Mister Able. Your friends are here."
The guy was clearly confused as he looked back at me, not recognising any of us at all.
"Friends? Who are you? Huh? Hey, you don’t look too bad, let’s exchange contacts!"
I sneered at him, "Oh? Why are you suddenly interested in someone you called a whore earlier? Didn’t you want me chased out of the store?"
He frowned, not understanding what I was talking about for a good few seconds before his eyes widened in recognition.
I then turned to the male staff who had gone still, his body freezing up when he finally realised who I was.
"And you. ’Dear customers’ was it? Quite a nice term for someone you just chased out of the store, don’t you think?"
The female staff member was clearly not expecting this interaction and was shifting her gaze between my group and that Able guy’s group in a panic.
The male staff had no idea what to do and was looking at the Able guy in an even bigger panic, clearly wondering if it was a better idea to offend that Able guy or me.
The Able guy leapt up to his feet and scowled at me, "Ha?! You think just because you dress up a little, you’re suddenly someone impressive?! Do you know who I am?!!"
I turned to Vier, "Who is he?"
Vier snuggled closer to my arm while looking at her nails casually, "Mikaf Able. Eldest son of Patre Able, current CEO of Able Electronics. It’s currently ranked at number sixty on the list of Electronics suppliers within the Inner Colonies. Company net worth of about sixty septillion Credits."
Oh wow, he’s actually a pretty big shot isn’t he? Umm... Actually... This doesn’t seem like a good idea anymore, does it? I was honestly thinking he was just some random rich guy... Not someone who has a company worth that much Credits...
The guy puffed up his chest, "That’s right! Who do you think you are?! If you don’t kneel down and beg for mercy, I’ll make sure to ruin you!!"
Before I could say anything, Vier clucked her tongue and glared at him, "No. If you don’t get on your knees and beg for mercy. You will be the one that’s ruined."
"Ha?! What did this bitch just say to me?!!"
No one here seemed to recognise her as an Iceborne huh? I guess this station isn’t really that big after all...
Vier said nothing and brought out her personal terminal to tap on it, prompting a screen to appear with another black Dragonling on the screen.
"Cancel all contracts we have with Able Electronics now. Tell them it’s because their eldest son pissed me off."
The other Dragonling bowed and Vier ended the call without another word before she went right back to snuggling against my arm.
The Able guy scoffed, "What? Was that supposed to scare me? Do you think I’m really that stupi--"
His personal terminal started to ring before he even finished his words.
He looked down and his face paled slightly before he tapped on it to answer the call.
"Fa... Father?"
"YOU BASTARD!!!! WHAT DID YOU DO?!!!" The guy on the other side of the call roared.
"Fa... Father? What... What do you mean?"
"WE JUST LOST ALMOST ALL OF OUR CONTRACTS!!! YOU PISSED OFF SOMEONE FROM THE ICEBORNE FAMILY?!!!"
"Ice... Iceborne?"
"YOU BASTARD!!!! OUR COMPANY’S VALUE JUST DROPPED DOWN TO FIVE BILLION BECAUSE OF YOU!!! IF YOU DON’T FIX THIS IMMEDIATELY, YOU ARE DEAD! DEAD!!! YOU HEAR ME?!!!"
