What Do You Mean I'm The Captain Of A Yandere Mercenary Company?

Chapter 921: Are My Exo-Knights Ready Yet?

Chapter 921: Are My Exo-Knights Ready Yet?

"Mmhmm... So my order is in there, correct?"

"Yes, Lady Tera..."

"Oh, I’m not a noble, no need to call me Lady, ahahaha~"

"Y... Yes, Miss Tera."

"Mmhmm~ So how long before they are ready?"

"I umm... I..."

"Well?"

"Umm... That is... Miss Tera... Umm... There’s a problem..."

"Oh? What problem could that be?"

"This... This is a sales branch... So we don’t handle the deliveries... Umm... We can’t really check whether the delivery is ready from here... You would need to go to another place to check instead."

I was about to feel a little embarrassed from that fact when Vier responded to his words casually, "Hmmm? What did you say? You want us to go there ourselves to check? Are you sure about that?"

"No! No!! I... I will go check for you! Please wait right here!!"

The male staff ran off, his figure disappearing around the corner.

I then looked down at the person who was currently prostrated on the ground and being used as my table where we placed a tray of food and drinks on his back, the eldest son of the former top sixty electronics manufacturing company doing his very best not to move.

Just saying... This was completely Vier’s idea. I had no say in any of this...

The moment these people knew who they were dealing with, the guy was prostrating on the ground trying to get Vier to reverse the decision to cancel the contracts.

The other staff member also realised that he was stuck neck deep in hot water as well and basically started serving us with all the sincerity he could muster.

I don’t think he has straightened his back and was just constantly bowing to us the entire time ever since he realised just how screwed he was.

And... Yeah... The Mister Able guy was just left prostrating on the ground and transformed into a table for us to use to put our stuff while we pretended he was really just a table.

I guess it’s now an unwritten fact that if the things on his back drops, he’s as good as dead.

I was just following Vier’s lead on this because she was obviously much more experienced in this than I was and I honestly found all of this quite amusing as well so I just let everything play out to see what would happen.

Vier shifted herself closer to me, moving to rest her feet up on the guy’s head as she cuddled against my chest.

"Tera, here’s the sales report for the things I sold off earlier. Feel free to take a look," She offered, handing her personal terminal to me while pushing her feet quite forcefully against the guy’s head.

I think if she stomped on him any harder, it’s going to leave an indent in the ground after this...

I took her personal terminal and pretended to be busy scanning through it, the numbers a little lost on me since I was more focused on the prostrating guy trying his best to stay still so the tray on his back doesn’t topple over.

It’s really quite entertaining.

Shit... I better not get hooked on this... This is how villains are made, aren’t they?

Looking at the side, I found my girls looking at the sight of the guy prostrating to me with looks of satisfaction on their faces, like this was something that they expected to happen.

I quickly checked through the list that Vier had given me before handing it back to her and clearing my throat.

"Ahem... Vier? I think this is enough, right? I feel a little sorry for him."

Vier accepted her personal terminal back before letting out a sigh, "Tera. You are too kind. People like this need to know their place. If it wasn’t for you, he would already be dead."

The Dragonling emphasised her point by smacking the heel of her foot against the back of his head several times with a resounding thud each time.

To that guy’s credit, he managed to keep himself still despite the amount of force that was being smacked against his head.

Mmm... I remember rubbing those feet of hers last night... Ahem... No, no, I am not jealous of that guy at all. Trust.

Damn... She’s even grinding her heel into the back of his head... I’m so jeal-- Ahem... I pity him.

"Well... I just think... I don’t know... The sight of him there is tiring me out a little," I admitted.

I mean... I’m not even used to seeing people fearing that much for their lives so it feels a little bit weird to see someone prostrating to me to begin with.

...

Ok, that was only part of the real reason... The bigger reason is because seeing some random fat guy prostrating to me makes me feel nothing but disgust... So I’m not really interested in seeing this play out any further than this.

I’m not sure if Vier understood my hidden meaning but she gave me a nod before removing her feet from his head to address him.

"Once that staff comes back, you can leave. I’ll reinstate half of the contracts with your father’s company. If anything spills from your back before he comes back, then the deal is off."

He shook slightly but remained where he was.

We only needed to wait for another three minutes before a clearly out of breath man ran back in, sweat pouring down his head and his shirt damp with his sweat.

Somewhere along the way, he had dumped his jacket aside so he was missing that article of clothing right now.

He took a moment to catch his breath, huffing and puffing without caring about his current image and how ridiculous he looked at the moment.

"M... Miss Tera... Ha... Ha... They... They have your... Your Exo-Knights... Ready... I had them... Prepare... The units... For you to retrieve them... Ha... Ha... You can... Go and get them... Whenever you wish..."

This guy really sprinted all the way there and back huh? I guess he was also afraid the he might lose his job if we thought he was too slow.

Vier nodded at the tray that was still on that Able guy’s back, "Take that off of him."

The salesperson quickly moved, almost tripping over himself, as he went to lift up the tray on that guy’s back.

The Able guy shuddered and tried to stand up on his feet, but having been kneeling for so long must have made his lower body numb as he struggled to even get his feet under him.

He stood up on shaky legs, his head still bowed low and making sure his gaze was locked on the floor the entire time.

"I... I thank you for your mercy... And I deeply apologise for my rudeness... It will never happen again."

Vier didn’t even bother acknowledging him as she was tapping on her personal terminal to make another call.

A screen appeared and the same person whom Vier spoke to was on the screen, waiting for instructions.

Vier nodded at them, "Reinstate half of the contracts. Reassign the other half to other companies."

The Dragonling on the screen bowed, "Understood, Lady Iceborne."

Vier ended the call and shifted her gaze to the Able guy, "Why are you still here? Your presence is abhorrent to us. Get lost."

The guy practically ran out of the store without looking back.

Once he was out of sight, I stood up from the couch I had been sitting on and let out a groan before turning back to my girls, giving them a wry smile.

"Well... Sorry to have all of you tag along on something selfish like this..."

Amber huffed, "Oh Tera, this is not selfish at all. You should really depend on us more, you know? You think we would hear about you getting bullied by some trash and not want to give them a good whack? Of course we would!"

Well... The thought is enough for me so thanks girls~

Anyway... I guess we should go and check out our Exo-Knights now. We are still on a schedule so I don’t plan to stay here longer than necessary.

As I was leading the girls out of the store, I figured that I should ask them if they were done with their own tasks so that we would just split up here if they weren’t.

But when I turned back to look at them, I found them all looking either in the direction of the male staff earlier or in the direction of where the Able guy had gone.

And for some reason... All of them have a very weird look on their faces.

As though it was just an illusion, the look suddenly disappeared when they noticed me looking and Amber smiled at me.

"Oh, I just remembered, I wasn’t done with my stuff yet, Tera! Why don’t you go ahead and we’ll catch up?"

The rest also started saying they also weren’t done with their stuff yet and had to split up from me.

Err... Sure? I guess I’ll see you girls there?
