Fear took root in their hearts, and they dared not approach.

It was only when the Arrays in the sky unleashed bolt after bolt of lightning, converging into a great waterfall of thunderous power that swallowed Yei Xiu’s body, that the guards breathed the faintest sigh of relief.

“Not bad, not bad at all.” He said with a grin. “Within the Situ Family, two worthy opponents have finally shown themselves. I was beginning to think that the last man I killed was the Situ Family’s only true expert. I told myself that surely, a Supreme Tier Ancient Noble Family, for all that it’s worth, couldn’t be that pitiful. They should be able to produce a handful of proper experts.”

“The last man you killed!?” Upon hearing those words, Situ Hengxing’s eyes snapped open.

Situ Xiong’s eyes went even wider. He stared at the figure before him in disbelief. “You’re saying, you’re the one who killed my Older Brother?!”

“Your Older Brother?” Yei Xiu’s expression was that of utter indifference. “Probably. I don’t recall his name, or even what he looked like, to be honest. Though I notice you look vaguely familiar. Maybe you two share some resemblance. In that case, he may well have been your Older Brother.”

“Still, what of it? Do you want to join him down there in Hell!?”
