Chapter 753: Video

Chapter 753: Chapter 753: Video

His emotions finally burst out. “Shouldn’t you go look for her yourself as her husband? Or you don’t actually love her and was pretending all along.”

Silas remained calm. “I’ve already sent several teams. They’re searching every possible location. As for me… I still have to manage the military so I can’t leave”

The moment those words left his mouth, Kael’s emotions exploded. “What kind of husband are you?”

His voice echoed throughout the area. “You can’t even leave this insignificant responsibility behind for a little while to search for your wife?”

His eyes reddened with anger. “What if she’s in danger right now?”

He stepped forward. “Silas.”

His voice became cold. “I’m warning you. If anything happens to Ivy, I won’t forgive you.”

Silas quietly stared at him. Then he gave a faint, bitter smile.

“You don’t need to warn me.”

His voice remained steady despite the pain hidden within it. “Because neither will I.”

He slowly lowered his gaze. “Believe me. There isn’t a single moment where I’m not worried about her.”

Hearing those sincere words, Kael’s anger slowly disappeared.

He let out a long sigh. “I’m sorry.”

He rubbed his forehead tiredly. “I was just overwhelmed. My sister has never disappeared for this long.”

His voice softened. “I let my emotions control me.”

Silas gently patted his shoulder. “I understand.”

A faint smile appeared on his exhausted face. “To be honest, I feel like I’m about to lose my mind as well.”

Kael could only nod. Neither of them spoke again.

…………………………

Another week passed. Not a single clue about Ivy surfaced.

Finally, Silas made his decision. He looked toward Kael. “I’m leaving the base.”

His voice was firm. “I’ll search for Ivy personally.”

Kael immediately understood. Something had definitely gone wrong. However, he also knew they couldn’t allow panic to spread inside the base.

Especially not among Ember, Helena, and Victor. Taking a deep breath, he forced himself to remain calm before facing everyone.

“We’ve located Ivy.”

His voice remained steady. “However, she’s trapped in a very complicated location.”

He forced a reassuring smile. “It’ll take some time to safely bring her back.”

Although everyone still felt worried, they could only nod silently.

Meanwhile, long before all of this happened… Ivy had already prepared a final video.

She had entrusted it to Martha with strict instructions.

Only if she failed to return was Martha allowed to deliver that recording to every government across the world.

Martha hesitated. The storage device containing Ivy’s final video felt unusually heavy in her trembling hands.

She repeatedly remembered the promise Ivy had forced her to make.

“No matter what happens… don’t show this video to Silas, Kael or anyone else. You can only send it to the governments.”

Even now, Martha struggled with that promise. She desperately wanted to tell Kael the truth.

However, every time she thought about breaking her oath, Ivy’s calm face flashed through her mind.

After a long internal struggle, Martha finally clenched her fists.

‘I promised her. I can’t betray her final request.’

Taking a deep breath, she transmitted the video to every government that still remained operational.

………………………………

When the leaders of the various governments watched Ivy’s recording, the conference rooms fell completely silent.

Every pair of eyes remained fixed on the screen. In the video, Ivy appeared surprisingly calm.

There wasn’t the slightest trace of panic on her face. “I’ve already completed my negotiations with Tammy and Coco.”

Her voice echoed steadily throughout the room.

“For the next one year and six months, they won’t launch another attack against Earth.”

She paused briefly before continuing.

“Please don’t waste this opportunity. I want every country to continue strengthening its people. If possible, continue purchasing resources from the Silvy Base. Keep cultivating. Keep researching mutated plants and mutated animals.”

Then Ivy’s expression became serious.

“There have already been signs of beastification in humans. If possible, begin researching the fusion of human and beast genes.”

A faint smile appeared on her face. “Perhaps a pleasant surprise is waiting for humanity.”

Those instructions weren’t random. They were conclusions she had reached after carefully studying the research data she had received.

According to those results, if her deductions were correct, humanity would eventually lose its cultivation abilities.

However, that wouldn’t be the end.

Because of the existence of mutated plants and mutated beasts, humanity would awaken a completely different path.

Their genes would gradually evolve.

Rather than cultivating spiritual energy, humans would begin obtaining strength directly through genetic mutation.

Only by adapting to that future would humanity truly survive.

That was precisely why Ivy wanted every government to begin researching that direction immediately.

Before ending the recording, she added one final warning.

“Some people may retain their supernatural abilities even after cultivation disappears. If you discover such individuals, ask them to voluntarily participate in research.”

Her expression became unusually cold.

“But remember this. I expect every government to maintain ethical standards. I won’t tolerate inhumane experiments. If anyone crosses that line…”

She looked directly into the camera.

“…I’ll have no choice but to order my Shadow Guards, who have been secretly monitoring every government, to eliminate the threat.”

The video ended shortly afterward. However, silence continued filling every conference room.

No one spoke. Everyone simply stared blankly at the black screen.

The information Ivy had revealed was nothing short of earth-shattering.

The possibility that humans could evolve by combining their genes with mutated beasts completely overturned everything they believed.

Even worse, they now knew that humanity only had one year and six months before another war became possible.

However… none of those revelations shocked them as much as Ivy’s final statement.

Shadow Guards. She had secretly stationed people to monitor every government.

Until this very moment, each government had firmly believed that everything remained under their own control.

Now they realized they had been under surveillance all along.

After taking several deep breaths, every government reached the same conclusion.

No one dared make an enemy of Ivy.

Not anymore.

Eventually, the world leaders unanimously decided to monitor one another while strictly avoiding any reckless human experimentation.

No one wanted to provoke someone as terrifyingly capable as Ivy.
