Chapter 710: Rio’s Indirect Effects on Fate. (Skippable)

A young girl and young boy, both holding hands with each other and wearing the first-year student’s dress of the Great Freya Academy, slowly walked inside the cemetery with solemn looks on their faces.

The girl was holding two flower bouquets in her hands.

The two freshmen of the academy slowly made their way through the massive cemetery and arrived at a secluded corner where two new-looking graves were erected in the ground.

Both graves had the same big tombstone, which had the words, ’Here Lies the Best Father and Mother Who Loved Their Daughter With All Their Heart,’ engraved.

After arriving in front of the two graves, the young girl slightly bowed as she placed the bouquets of flowers near the tombstone.

"Mom, Dad... I am sorry I took so long to visit you..."

"The incident that day shook me to the core and left me traumatized for months, and I just couldn’t muster the courage to face the reality that you were both gone..."

The young girl held the young man’s hand tightly as she spoke.

So, with both sharing their traumatic pasts and spending a lot of time together, they eventually ended up falling for each other and became a couple soon after.

It was as if two boats that were drifting in an empty ocean with no goal or destination to reach had ended up meeting each other by sheer coincidence, and they both became close to each other at a very rapid pace!

The two young people relied on each other to face this cruel world and visited each other’s families, and today was the day when Sara had decided to finally bring her boyfriend to see her parents together.

She hadn’t been home since the day she got admitted to the academy, as she lacked the courage to face the graves of her parents.

But with the help of a person who loved her and was supporting her, Sara managed to face reality and came to terms with it.

"For all you did for me, for all the love you gave to me, and for all the encouragement you gave me... thank you..."

"That day, ’The Rising Darkstar’ saved my life and got revenge for you both by bringing judgment to that horrible criminal who destroyed our lives..."

With moist eyes, Sara said goodbye to her parents and hugged her boyfriend to find comfort.

After a while the young couple left with the light of new hope shining in their eyes.

As the couple left, the leaves of the tree nearby rustled due to a sudden wind breeze as a person suddenly appeared beneath the tree.

"No wonder I had a hunch that I should visit this place today... I see, so she managed to find happiness and moved on in her life..."

"That’s good news..."

A smile appeared on Rio’s face as he looked at the couple’s figure fading into the distance.

"Well, I hope you both will be happy in the future and won’t have to face a situation like that day ever again..."

With that said, Rio’s figure disappeared into nothingness again as if he were never here to begin with.
