"Well, I don’t mind; if it’s Rio, I would let him coat me in miasma, let alone a spaceship..."

At Rio’s question, Lia didn’t even hesitate for a second and agreed without feeling worried at all.

She trusted Rio more than herself, so she had no objections towards the plan.

Riya tossed a candy in her mouth as she spoke in a smug voice.

"I can just purify miasma if it goes rogue; there’s no need to worry about a little bit of it coating our spaceship..."

With her current capabilities, Riya was quite sure that she could even survive in the spirit realm, let alone a spaceship covered in miasma.

The only reason she didn’t go to the spirit realm was because it targets healers crazily; otherwise, she would have been a tremendous help to Liam and Ellie back then.

"Well, if Riya has already agreed, who am I to question... we will go with this plan..."

Link also agreed immediately, as he wasn’t that worried about miasma; he was also very resistant to it because of his legendary skill ’Dao Rhythm.’

Seeing that everyone had agreed, Ashtel also agreed as he spoke.

"Well, you must undo the miasma coating just when we are about to reach the Beast Archipelago; those beast folk are very sensitive people, and their instincts are crazy accurate..."

"It would be better if we didn’t show up riding inside a ship covered in miasma in their land; it would only create unnecessary conflict..."

Rio nodded his head at those words and agreed to the plan.

Without wasting any more time, he lightly poked the spaceship with his finger and used his powers.

As if a massive cage of miasma corruption had appeared out of nothingness, it covered the entire spaceship and suppressed the spaceship’s mana and spatial fluctuations to the extreme!

If not for the fact that the group already knew that the spaceship was right in front of them, they would have really not known that there was a spaceship right in front of them!

"Mana, elements, space-time... it all got suppressed to this extent... it’s unbelievable... and if I am not wrong... this miasma coating of yours... it even has a slight effect on minds."

"This miasma control ability of your is really overpowered... I always get shocked no matter how many times I see you use it..."

Ashtel was shocked at how precise Rio’s control over miasma was, and only now did he realize why everyone seemed to like calling him the nickname ’Darkstar.’

With this kind of horrific stealth capabilities at his disposal, Rio can even dodge the detection of SS-rankers without putting in much effort!

Similar to how a star that has run out of fuel and has gone completely dark and invisible in the darkness of space, Rio’s nickname ’Darkstar’ is a clear representation of his insane stealth capabilities!

"Good, this will do... even I am finding it hard to properly detect this spaceship now, so the demon king likely won’t be able to detect it at a long distance either..."

"I am glad you have such stealth capabilities; the demon king seemed like he’d been hunting for you. With such stealth capabilities you can easily avoid getting caught by him..."

Ashtel patted Rio on the head like he usually did and then headed inside the spaceship without delaying any further.

The rest of the group also followed right behind him, and as the gate of the spaceship closed, Link let out an exhausted sigh.

"Man, I give up ever competing with you in terms of stealth and detection... you win; it’s simply stupid to even be competing with you in these kinds of things..."

Until now Link still had some hope in his heart, but after seeing Rio’s insane miasma control capabilities in person, Link felt like his dreams were shattered.

Seeing Link’s defeated look, Riya tossed another candy in her small mouth as she patted him on the shoulder and spoke.

"No need to compete with him in the field he’s best at; we all have our own ’Paths’ and our own fields that we excel at. Focus on improving your own mastery over the field you are good at..."

Rio also nodded at Riya’s words.

"Indeed, you are the best at being a meat shield for our group. Main battle tanks have no need for stealth; they are supposed to be more visible and domineering instead!"

Hearing Rio’s teasing words, Link didn’t know whether to laugh or to cry.

"Sigh, why does only Rio get to be the cool, edgy, and stealthy fighter? It’s so unfair... sigh..."

Rio just shrugged his shoulders at those words.

"Well, I have to be stealthy because I can’t tank head-on attacks like you, who is not even afraid of arrows hitting your eye..."

One of Link’s favorite training activities was having S-rank archers shoot arrows at his eyes so that he could train his eye muscles into impenetrable fortresses just like the rest of his body.

Even Rio felt his scalp tingle after seeing Link tank arrows with his eyes!

"Don’t forget that I had to learn miasma just to get past your defenses back in the supreme tournament for the sake of defeating you head on..."

Hearing Rio’s consoling words, Link felt much better and regained his lost confidence again.

"Yup, you are right, I am a martial artist, not an assassin; I should focus more on raw strength and defense than stealth..."

The group chatted about various things as they walked through the metallic corridors and arrived at the main control center, where the staff members were already waiting for them.

As the group took their seats, the staff members greeted them and then immediately got to work at Ashtel’s orders.

With insane stealth capabilities, the spaceship took off in the air as the ceiling of the underground hangar opened up automatically.

Without further delay, the spaceship flew straight in the direction of the Beast Archipelago, and thus, a new adventure began!
