Chapter 714: Island Felina. Part-1.

The journey to the Beast Archipelago went pretty smoothly, as the entire spaceship was coated with Rio’s absolute stealth capabilities and thus didn’t face any detection issues.

With Rio suppressing the spaceship’s fluctuations, it was possible to travel at a much faster speed without needing to worry about getting detected by anyone.

Thus, in just an hour, the group arrived at a hidden underground military camp of the Feline Beast Tribe and parked the spaceship in an open space.

At Ashtel’s suggestion, Rio removed the miasma coating just as they were about to reach the Beast Archipelago so as not to cause misunderstandings with the beast folk.

As the spaceship landed and the group walked out while following Ashtel’s lead, they noticed that there were already several people waiting for them nearby.

At the forefront was a man with greenish-white ears like a cat and a tail with a similar fur color.

The man gave off an aura of confidence and authority; his greenish-white cat eyes shone with brilliance as if they could see through all truths.

The man completely ignored Ashtel, and his eyes fell straight on Rio instead as a look of confusion flashed on his face for a second, but he hid it pretty fast so that others wouldn’t notice it.

But of course, Rio being the person who had researched psychology so that he could act more like a normal human being just like others, he easily noticed the emotions hidden in those calm eyes.

’He’s noticed something...’

’I guess the legend that beast folk have an extremely good intuition is indeed true; just like those fairies I met back in the fairyland dungeon, he had the same look of confusion in his eyes for a second...’

Although Rio was curious what the other party had noticed, he couldn’t ask something like that right now, as the other party seemed to have already hidden his emotions right away.

"Welcome, Children of Astra. Welcome to Island Felina of the Beast Archipelago. As the ruling party of Felina Island, the Feline Tribe welcomes you all with wide arms!"

"I am one of the three overlords of the Beastfolk race and the leader of the Feline Tribe, Riku Kotov."

With a wide smile on his face, Riku stretched out his hand and shook hands with Ashtel.

"I have heard a lot about you, Sir Ashtel. Now that I have seen you in person, I can confidently say that you are indeed an impressive person..."

The person who led the beastfolk tribe and went to the ’Meeting of Gods’ back then during the ’Supreme Tournament’ event was a different SS-ranker, and thus it was the first time Ashtel had met Riku.

"So you are Riku Kotov, who is considered the strongest among the beastfolk tribe. I have been wanting to meet you for a long while, but I just couldn’t find an opportunity..."

"As you might already know, I like sparring with strong people a lot. If we get a chance this time, I would like to see your skill, Sir Riku."

Hearing those words, Riku nodded his head at Ashtel’s words and replied with a smile.

"People of our caliber are destined to be burdened with responsibilities; I can totally understand not being able to move freely due to work..."

"If we get a chance, I would also like to see the real capabilities of the person who is adorned with the title of the ’Strongest Man’ on the planet..."

Riku happily accepted Ashtel’s invitation for a spar despite knowing that he was likely no match for Ashtel.

Beastfolk seem adorable and cuddly because of their humanoid bodies and their furry ears and tails, but mistaking them for weak is a huge mistake.

The most berserkers in the world are born in the land of beasts!

Beastfolk are the type of people who don’t know the word ’fear’ at all!

Even if someone is strong, even if they are outnumbered by enemies, they would still dare to fight with all their strength because the word ’retreat’ rarely ever comes to their mind!

"This is my daughter Miki Kotov; I believe you might already know her, as she was the one who acted as the main representative of the younger generation of our nation during the supreme tournament..."

With a smile on his face, Riku patted the head of his daughter, who was standing right beside him.

"It’s a pleasure to meet you all again. Welcome to the Beast Archipelago!"

A happy smile appeared on Miki’s face as she immediately noticed Lia among the group and waved her hand to say hello.

Lia also didn’t stand on ceremony and came forward to greet Miki with a handshake.

"It’s been a while; you have become more mature and stronger than before..."

Hearing Lia’s words, Miki smiled as she replied in a happy voice.

"You too, Lia. I was surprised when I found out that you had already reached rank S... sigh, I have been working hard and am still stuck at the peak of rank A..."

"I guess I will have to postpone our fated duel for some other time..."

After being defeated by Lia back in the tournament of supreme talents, Miki asked Lia for a duel again someday in the future and mutually agreed to it at that time.

Miki had been working hard for this sake, but to her dismay, Lia was already much, much farther than her, and she had no chance of challenging her right now.

"Don’t worry, I am sure you will catch up sooner or later; I have only just recently reached rank S too..."

Lia patted Miki on the shoulder with a smile to console her, and Miki nodded her head at those words.

Hearing Miki’s declaration, Link couldn’t help but nod his head at the cat girl as he felt that he could relate to those words a lot.
